For the best experience, we recommend using your phone β€” the interface is designed mobile-first.

🎯Tournament Setup

A tournament supports 4 to 32 players. You need a minimum of 4 (one table) and the ideal player count is a multiple of 4 (8, 12, 16, 20, etc.) for perfectly balanced tables.

If your player count isn't a multiple of 4, the app will handle it β€” some players may sit out a round on rotation.

Yes! When creating a tournament, you choose:

  • Number of rounds β€” how many partner rotations (we recommend 5-8)
  • Hands per round β€” how many hands each pair plays together (we recommend 4-6)

More rounds means fairer results but a longer event. A 6-round, 5-hands-per-round tournament typically takes about 2-2.5 hours.

Three ways:

  • Join code: Share the 4-digit code. Players tap β€œHave a code?” on the home screen.
  • QR code: Display or print the QR code. Players scan it with their phone camera.
  • Email invite: Send invitations directly from the app to your contacts or contact groups.
πŸ“ŠScoring & Gameplay

Scores can be re-submitted before the round advances. The app uses a last-write-wins approach, so if a mistake is made, any player at the table can re-enter the correct score and it will overwrite the previous entry.

Yes β€” the round advances once all tables have submitted scores. This ensures everyone plays the same number of rounds. However, fast tables don't have to wait idly β€” they can take a break, grab a drink, or check the standings while they wait.

EuchreTourney uses a rotating partner round-robin algorithm that maximizes variety. The algorithm ensures that across all rounds, you're paired with as many different partners as possible and face as many different opponents as possible. It's the same approach used in professional bridge and euchre events.

πŸ’³Pricing & Credits

Your first 3 tournaments are completely free β€” no credit card required. After that, you purchase tournament credits:

  • 1 credit β€” $1.99
  • 3 credits β€” $4.99 (save 16%)
  • 10 credits β€” $9.99 (save 50%)

Each credit lets you create one tournament. Credits never expire. Only the tournament creator needs credits β€” joining a tournament is always free.

No, never. Joining a tournament is always free. Only the person who creates the tournament uses a credit. Everyone else just signs in and joins with the code.

No. Once you purchase credits, they're yours forever. Use them whenever you're ready to host.

πŸ’¬Run Your Tournament Differently?

Every euchre group has its own style. Maybe you play with fixed teams instead of rotating partners. Maybe you use a different scoring system, run a bracket-style elimination, or have house rules we haven't thought of yet.

We want to hear about it. EuchreTourney was built by people who play the game, and we're actively building new features based on what real tournament hosts need. If the app doesn't support the way you run your tournaments, tell us β€” there's a good chance we'll build it.

Share Your Idea

It only takes a minute, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next.

Right now EuchreTourney supports the rotating partner round-robin format β€” the most popular format for social euchre events. But we know it's not the only way to play.

We're actively exploring support for:

  • Fixed partner tournaments β€” keep the same partner all night
  • Bracket / elimination formats β€” single or double elimination
  • Custom scoring rules β€” different point values, bonus rounds, etc.
  • League play β€” recurring weekly or monthly tournaments with season standings

If your group plays a format we don't support yet, we want to know. Use the feedback button above to tell us how you run things β€” it directly influences our roadmap.

Tap the β€œShare Your Idea” button above, or visit the feedback page from your profile once you're signed in. Tell us what you need and how your tournaments work β€” the more detail, the better.

We read every submission and it directly shapes what we build. Many of EuchreTourney's current features started as suggestions from hosts just like you.

Still have questions?

Try it yourself β€” the best way to learn is to run a tournament. Your first 3 are free.
